Fuel Type- Natural Gas or Propane Gas
•Appliances operated with NG (natural gas) gas must be installed with the NG regulator supplied with the unit and set to 4.0″ water column pressure.
• Appliances operated with LP (liquid propane) gas must be installed with an LP regulator set to 11″water column pressure. Propane Tank hose is supplied with Grill, if installed to a large tank you will need to purchase an appliance regulator.
Clearance from Combustibles: Ensure your appliance remains at a distance of at least 14” from sides & 16” from back from any combustible material such as wood, gyprock, paper and plants. Do not store combustible materials, gasoline, flammable liquids or vapors around the appliance. The outdoor kitchen structure itself should be constructed completely out of non-combustible materials. A distance of 5” will be needed behind the grill for the lid to open and close. Remember that should combustible materials (such as a combustible wall) be located behind the grill that the needed 5” for lid clearance doesn’t satisfy the distance required from a combustible surface.
Electrical Connections
Not needed for Grill ignition operation. 120V GFCI Needed under grill on right side of grill for 12V Transformer (supplied) for Grill lighting system. 120V GFCI Outlet recommended for Rotisserie system.
Venting
When building a gas appliance into an outdoor kitchen, it is necessary to provide adequate ventilation for the island cavity underneath. This is necessary for not only proper combustion, but also to prevent a buildup of gas.
Insulated Jackets
TrueFlame insulated jackets are essential when installing TrueFlame gas grills into a combustible enclosure such as an outdoor kitchen or BBQ island. This insulated jacket is constructed of stainless steel with a self-supporting ledge around the sides and back that adds one more layer of quality and protection to your outdoor kitchen.

AMD Direct products include our GOLD STANDARD LIFETIME WARRANTY with
all replacement parts 100% non-prorated. Effective with purchases as of 8/1/21.
AMD Direct Warranty is valid for original purchaser at original site of delivery with
proof of purchase and photo documentation only. Registration form must be
submitted online within 30 days of the purchase date to validate the warranty.
Warranty is void upon transfer of ownership. Warranty does not apply to products
installed in any commercial, rental, or nonresidential application (exception of the
Resort Grill, Alturi, & TRL). Warranty covers replacement parts only. Manufacturer
is not responsible for labor or labor-related costs. Warranty does not cover
discoloration, surface rust, corrosion, or oxidation, which may occur due to harsh
environments, chemicals, or overheating. Warranty will not apply for damage
resulting from improper installations, abuse, extreme environments, grease fires,
or misuse. Proof of regular and proper maintenance is required. Coastal, humid,
and/or salt environments are subject to manufacturer review. All out-of-box claims
must be made within 30 days of purchase and must be made prior to installation.
Any product installed damaged will be considered damaged during installation
and not covered under warranty. Warranty and registration forms are available at

is” and the warranty covers the following items only: main burners (Gold Standard
Lifetime Warranty), grates (Gold Standard Lifetime Warranty), burner covers (Gold
